Product Description
Urea Phosphate (UP 18-44-0) is a highly soluble, acidic crystalline fertilizer that provides a concentrated source of nitrogen and phosphorus.
It is characterized by having one of the highest solubility rates among phosphate sources and is the only dry phosphorus source in the form of a strong acid in crystalline form.
The fertilizer contains:
- 18% Nitrogen (N)
- 44% Phosphorus (P₂O₅)
This makes it an excellent choice for fertigation programs, especially in systems that require:
- A highly available, fast-dissolving source of phosphorus
- Lowering the pH of irrigation water (acidification) and improving the solubility of other nutrients
Urea Phosphate helps to:
- Support strong root development in the early stages of plant growth
- Promote vigorous vegetative growth thanks to its nitrogen content
- Improve the efficiency of uptake of other nutrients in the soil due to its acidifying effect
Key Features
- Among the highest solubility rates of all phosphate sources (> 99.8%)
- Concentrated dual source of nitrogen and phosphorus
- Supplied as a dry, odourless crystalline powder, easily soluble in water
- Helps reduce irrigation water pH and improve fertilizer efficiency across different fertigation systems
