Product Description
Yam Omega Fe-EDDHA 6% (4.8-0-0) is a highly efficient chelated iron fertilizer, specially formulated to correct and prevent iron deficiency (chlorosis) in crops — particularly in alkaline and high-pH soils where iron availability is strongly reduced.
The product contains 6% chelated iron on EDDHA with an ortho-ortho (4.8-0-0) isomer ratio, one of the most stable and effective forms of chelated iron in the soil. This ensures:
- Excellent iron availability and uptake even in calcareous, alkaline soils
- Rapid recovery of leaf greenness and reduction of interveinal chlorosis
- Activation of photosynthesis and chlorophyll formation
- Improved crop growth, yield and final quality
Key Features
- 6% EDDHA chelated iron (4.8-0-0), ideal for alkaline and calcareous soils
- Quickly corrects iron chlorosis and prevents interveinal yellowing of leaves
- Supports strong vegetative growth and chlorophyll formation
- Highly effective on fruit trees, vegetables, strawberry, grapevine, maize and wheat
- Can be applied via soil injection, drip irrigation or, when needed, foliar spray (according to technical recommendations)
Suggested Application Rates (Guidelines)
1) Young Trees (e.g. citrus, mango, olive)
- Age: 1–3 years
- Method: Soil injection or via drip irrigation
- Rate: 10–20 g/tree
2) Medium Trees
- Age: 4–7 years
- Method: Soil application or drip irrigation
- Rate: 25–50 g/tree
3) Large, Bearing Trees
- Age: > 8 years
- Method: Soil application or via irrigation
- Rate: 50–100 g/tree
4) Vegetables (tomato, potato, onion, cucumber, eggplant, etc.)
- Timing: After transplanting or at early growth stages
- Method: Through irrigation; foliar spray can be used if needed
- Rate: 1–2 kg/feddan (≈ 1 acre)
5) Strawberry
- Timing: At the beginning of flowering
- Method: Through irrigation
- Rate: 1–1.5 kg/feddan
6) Grapevine
- Timing: At the beginning of bud burst / leaf emergence
- Method: Through irrigation
- Rate: 25–75 g/tree
7) Maize & Wheat
- Timing: Before tillering stage
- Method: Through irrigation
- Rate: 1–2 kg/feddan
