Magnesium forms the central atom of the chlorophyll molecule and activates many ATP-related enzymes—adequate supply enhances photosynthetic efficiency, carbohydrate partitioning, and overall crop vigor.
Ideal for sandy or alkaline soils and situations with high K and Ca levels where Mg uptake is antagonized, leading to interveinal chlorosis on older leaves.
