MG CASWELL is a highly soluble liquid magnesium fertilizer formulated for foliar and drip applications to correct and prevent magnesium deficiencies across a wide range of crops. Magnesium forms the central atom of the chlorophyll molecule and activates many ATP-related enzymes—adequate supply enhances photosynthetic efficiency, carbohydrate partitioning, and overall crop vigor.
Ideal for sandy or alkaline soils and situations with high K and Ca levels where Mg uptake is antagonized, leading to interveinal chlorosis on older leaves.
(Indicative Composition – replace with confirmed label):
- 5–6% Magnesium Oxide (MgO) (fully soluble)
- May include small nitrogen / sulfur fraction (e.g., 2% N or 3% SO₃) for improved transport (insert exact values after label confirmation).
Key Benefits:
- Fast-acting magnesium source for quick foliar uptake.
- Relieves interveinal chlorosis and maintains chlorophyll density.
- Improves phosphorus utilization & balances K/Ca/Mg ratios.
- Liquid form—easy mixing, no dusting or caking.
- Suitable for vegetables (tomato, pepper, cucumber), leafy greens, vines, citrus, date palms, fruit trees, ornamentals.
- Broad tank-mix compatibility (always jar test).
Target Deficiency Symptoms: Interveinal yellowing starting on older leaves, marginal scorch in advanced cases, reduced photosynthetic rate, smaller fruit size or quality.
Suggested Rates (Adjust to tissue/soil tests & canopy):
- General Foliar: 2 – 3 ml/L (200 – 300 ml per 100 L) every 10–14 days preventively or at symptom onset.
- High-demand / evident deficiency (protected crops): Up to 4 ml/L at 7–10 day intervals.
- Drip (per ha): 2 – 4 L/ha split in 2–3 fertigations during vegetative / fruit fill phases.
- Trees (foliar): 250 – 400 ml/100 L applied to runoff avoidance.
- Young date palms (soil drench): 150 – 200 ml in 20–40 L water around moist root zone (repeat after 30 days if needed).
Application Guidelines:
Spray early morning or late afternoon. Maintain spray solution pH 5.5–6.5 when possible. Add product to partially filled tank under agitation. Avoid first mixing with high-phosphate, heavy oil, or strong copper formulations before a jar test.
Storage & Safety:
Store sealed, cool, dry. Use gloves and eye protection. Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest.
Expected Response: Progressive greening and reduction of lower leaf chlorosis within 7–10 days; improved uniform canopy vigor with continued program.
